Why Should I Fence?
-Fencing is a very old sport. It appeared in Europe more than 300 years ago, where it used to be a privilege of the kings and wealthy.

-In today's world fencing is very popular, attracting people of all age groups. Fencing is also currently the fastest growing sport in the United States.

-In the last 10 years American fencers achieved outstanding results worldwide, winning Olympic gold medals and becoming World Champions. In the 2008 Beijing Olympics the US Women's Saber Team won the gold medal and individually the US received gold, silver, and bronze!

-Fencing is a multifaceted sport, developing such physical qualities as dexterity, flexibility, coordination, endurance, speed and strength. It also develops intellectual abilities.

-Today many American universities have fencing programs, offering scholarships to athletes. Kanza has led many fencer's to fence in college on full-ride scholarships!
